Lectra Kaledo

The projects listed below demonstrate my knowledge of the program operations and mechanics of Lectra's Kaledo- Style, Print, Weave, and Knit. This class has helped me comprehend the apparel technical development process concept, presentation, and technical package. I also developed the ability to work up color palettes, trend boards, colorways, and apparel assortments in a variety of methods to apply surface design.

Brand Logo Project

For this assignment, I created a personal brand logo that I used for some of the projects in this class as well as resumes, business cards, and other self-marketing tools. I also made a personal mood board that helped inspire my logo's colors and design.

Inspiration and Trend Board

For this project I created both an Inspiration Board and Trend Board for a Winter 2020 Women's Wovens collection. My Inspiration Board is based on the concept of "Winter Lights," and I outlined my five trends on my trend board.

Print and Weave Projects

For these projects, I created two different prints that come in four distinct colorways with millcards. I also created two different weaves, one replicated and one original. For the original weave, I made four different colorways with millcards.

Style Collection

For this project I created a cohesive twelve piece apparel collection ground in a season, inspiration, and target market. I started by creating flat sketches, which I presented in a line assortment sheet. I then created a detailed design lead sheet for three of my designs.

Final Style Collection

For this project, I started by creating an inspiration and trend board. I then developed multiple prints and knits with different colorways inspired by my boards. Once those were created, I designed ten original garments and added the patterns and knits to them to create my Winter 2020 Womenswear collection.
